Being raised in NZ and surrounded by Koreans, Japanese, Chinese and while in Australia, a massive South-east Asian population- I felt an urge to see the Asia Motherland.

On one bus ride back from Watergarden station in Melbourne, AUS -whileI was listening to Drivers high (GTO OST)- his NZ best friend gave him the exact nudge

”You’ve studied Japanese but never went . It’s time you go”

He got off the bus, went home, booked his ticket and landed in Tokyo.
